This is the Spring 2021 release of Old Fitzgerald’s revered Bottled-in-Bond collection, an 8 year old 100 proof Kentucky bourbon whiskey that’s representative of the classic, charisma and character for which Heaven Hill’s most prestigious release has become renowned. A formidable lineage makes for a hard act to follow, but the 2021 Spring iteration of Old Fitz’s bottled in bond does just that, with the 9th installment in the series more than holding its own when compared to its predecessors. Aged for only 8 years, the classic Old Fitz flavors are more vibrant, the whiskey somehow tastes more full and less reserved, making for a more robust and hard-hitting, experiential tasting.
